WELCOME TO TORONTO

AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP NEW TOOLS TO RELIEVE OUR PATIENT’S PAINS.

We are very happy to invite you to participate to the 10th annual International Traditional
Osteopathy Symposium in Ontario.

Each year, we have the great privilege and chance to all meet in Toronto and share the knowledge
and clinical experience of renown osteopaths. This year we will focus the event on the topic of pain
and pain management. We are very proud to welcome : Gerald Lamb D.O.(UK), Serge Paoletti
D.O.(F), Steve Sandler D.O.(UK) and Philippe Druelle D.O. (Cdn).

Philippe Druelle D.O. will be offering a practical seminar on tools to relieve chronic pain and dysfunctions
in patients suffering from polytraumas on a physical and/or emotional level. This course
will focus on the treatment of the spinal canal and cord following physical shocks and emotional
imprints leading to retraction and dilation states of this mechanism. He will provide tangible solutions
to work on the sympathetic ganglions, medulla oblongata, filum terminale and the fluid flow
dynamics. This seminar was greatly appreciated in Montreal and Europe for the solutions it offers.
Steve Sandler D.O. has prepared a very useful course on the treatment of expecting mothers. How
to address vertebral, functional or visceral lesions at 3, 7 or 8 months of pregnancy. How to prepare
a good birthing process and delivery. The techniques that will be demonstrated are useful for pregnant
women but also for elderly patients and acute polytrauma cases. Steve Sandler DO with his 30
years of experience will transmit his work methods and strategies.

Gerald Lamb D.O. will be offering part 2 of SAT, Specific Adjusting Techniques. This seminar is the
continuation of SAT 1. These seminars are a great success and will enable participants to treat their
patients in their physical and emotional aspects. Gerald Lamb transmits his abilities and the means
to ensure success with this approach.

Serge Paoletti D.O. will be offering a practical seminar on the fasciae. Author of a very popular
book on the topic, participants will benefit from his know-how, and his availability to transmit his
in depth knowledge on the subject matter.

Serge Paoletti will allow participants to better understand, palpate and treat the physiology of a
patient through his fasciae.

In honour of the 15th Anniversary of the Canadian College of Osteopathy we have chosen the theme
of this symposium : the means to relieve pain, focussing on the therapeutic specificity of our profession.
This theme will allow us to become more conscious of the utility and efficacy of Osteopathy for
our patients.

Mme Marcee Rosenzweig D.O., President of the Ontario Association of Osteopaths (OAO) will be
giving the welcoming speech at the thesis day.

You are also cordially invited to the thesis presentation day which will be held August 22, 2007 at
the Canadian College of Osteopathy, 30 Duncan Street. At the end of the day, there will be a
graduation ceremony in the presence of the international jury members. A reception will be organized
to celebrate the Anniversary of the College and on this occasion, several awards will be presented.
You wouldn’t want to miss this great event.

This year we are pleased to offer you for the first time the opportunity to take two courses
at the same symposium. The first set of courses Workshops A and B will be offered on
August 18-21st 2007. Our thesis presentation day will be held on August 22nd 2007 and the
remaining workshops C and D will be held on August 22-26th 2007. All workshops are held
