Two interlinked Councils oversee the day-to-day activities of the college and its faculty—the Executive Council, Research Councils and the Academic Council.
The Executive Council manages the general direction of the college, while the Academic Council develops the programs, academic rules, and curriculum. The Academic Council works with student representatives of the college to help the students become more effective and qualified. It also supervises examinations, protocol, and thesis submissions and presentations. More importantly, it helps to ensure the safety of our osteopathic patients by providing and verifying the quality of the academic programs of the various affiliate colleges. The research council oversees the research component of the program.
