Our Graduates

Graduates from the Canadian College of Osteopathy receive a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice. Most enter private practice, either in a multidisciplinary clinic or working conveniently in a private office. Even Osteopaths in remote rural areas find that their practices are thriving. Some of the urban Osteopaths are so booked in advance that they are turning away new patients. Instead, they refer the patients to students who are working on the research component of their thesis. The demand for professionally qualified Osteopaths continues to increase.

Some graduates and students, depending upon their previous backgrounds, have been selected for the Medical Team of Major Games. This honour establishes them as volunteer therapy providers for sporting events of significant magnitude, such as the Commonwealth, Pan-Am, or Olympic Games. Other graduates are associated with professional teams or dance troops such as the National Ballet of Canada.
